About Nether Edge Living
The Nether Edge Development (built by Gleeson Homes) is situated in a conservation area on the site of the old Nether Edge Workhouse and is bounded by Osborne Road, Lyndhurst Road, Union Road and the Michael Carlisle Centre. There are 187 dwellings in a mixture of individual new build houses, new build apartment blocks and refurbished hospital buildings, with apartments out-numbering houses by around two to one.
The development also has a Leisure Suite comprising pool, sauna, spa, gym and function room for the use of residents and their guests. There are 4 electric gates which span the circumference of the site and are covered by CCTV. The site is split into 7 main areas, namely, Osborne Mews, Alexandra, Osborne Walk, Alexandra Gardens, Union Drive, Victoria Court and Edward Place.
